Bloomberg is hiring a Software Engineering Team Leader (Engineering Manager) for its newly created DataLayer Platform team in Pune. The role is hands-on and technical, beginning with an individual-contributor focus for six months while building familiarity with DataLayer, Bloomberg runtimes, and infrastructure. After the ramp-up, the candidate will lead people, technical direction, roadmap execution, and collaboration with Product and engineering stakeholders. The position requires deep C++ knowledge, object-oriented design, algorithms, robust library and infrastructure design, hands-on engineering, and prior experience leading an engineering team.
