Cisco is seeking a Software Engineering Technical Leader to provide technical leadership for Silicon One software integration, deployment, feature enablement, performance optimization, customer support, and adoption across Cisco and open-source networking ecosystems. The role leads software development and integration involving C++ and Python, networking SDKs and abstraction layers, SAI, QoS, traffic management, load balancing, and large-scale AI/ML and GPU infrastructure. Responsibilities include resolving complex software and networking issues, conducting root-cause analysis, supporting customer enablement, participating in architecture and design reviews, mentoring engineers, and contributing to automation and testing frameworks. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of software development experience or a master’s degree with 8+ years, along with strong networking and software development expertise.
