Description
STMicroelectronics is hiring a Senior Software Functional Safety Engineer for its General Purpose and Automotive Microcontroller Division and Automotive & Open Community Framework Team. The role supports safety-certified automotive and industrial embedded software solutions for STM32 and Stellar microcontrollers, including safety libraries, AUTOSAR-based solutions, and customer projects. Responsibilities include ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and IEC 60730 compliance, safety lifecycle management, safety analyses, software integration and verification, and RTOS low-level driver development. The position requires a master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a similar field, more than five years of experience, and strong C programming skills; the expected gross annual salary is €55,000–€70,000 plus variable pay.
