Metis Technology Solutions is hiring a Software Operations Engineer to design, implement, automate, secure, and maintain the infrastructure and processes used to build, test, deploy, and operate project software. The role focuses on CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure and configuration automation, Docker and Kubernetes, Python and Bash scripting, software security and code-quality tooling, Git workflows, monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with software and data engineering teams. The position is based at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California, and requires a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of relevant technical experience, and eligibility for a U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance.
