Description
Cohu is hiring a software quality assurance engineer to plan, execute, automate, analyze, and report system-level testing for Windows-based software products and electro-mechanical equipment. The role includes creating and debugging C# test scripts, performing functional and regression testing with equipment and simulators, documenting defects in Jira, analyzing release data with SQL or scripting, collaborating on defect resolution and root-cause investigations, improving testing practices, and guiding SQA engineers and technicians. The position requires a related engineering bachelor's degree, 2–4 years of software QA/testing experience, and at least 2 years testing electro-mechanical equipment and associated software applications; travel may be required up to 25%.
