Description
The Software Quality Engineer will join Apple's engineering team to test macOS and iOS frameworks and software used for next-generation human interface devices. The role involves learning applications, identifying weaknesses, authoring end-to-end and edge-case test plans, developing automated testing solutions, executing tests across hardware and software configurations, documenting test cases, tracking performance, reporting results, collaborating with development and program teams, and creating tools and methodologies to stress software features. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of relevant industry experience, Python and another object-oriented programming language, UI framework testing and debugging experience, bug-hunting skills, and familiarity with continuous integration, scheduling, cloud services, and data processing.
