Description
Skip is hiring a hands-on Software Quality Engineer to own end-to-end software quality for its wearable robotic device and related products. The role covers full-user-journey testing, hardware-software integration, HIL testing, and automation across web, mobile, backend API, and device/IoT layers. Responsibilities include building Selenium, Appium, and API automation frameworks; managing mock environments and test data; writing unit and integration tests; identifying edge cases; verifying data across the stack; tracking release risks; and wearing prototypes for on-body testing. The position requires at least five years of software testing experience, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile automation, API testing, HIL or firmware testing, mock services, CI/CD, and the ability to work from the Bay Area office three days per week.
