Description
Spire is hiring a Software Quality Engineer to own software quality assurance across the development lifecycle for onboard and ground-segment software while also providing mission assurance and anomaly-support activities for satellite operations. The role covers verification and validation, non-conformance management, risk and configuration control, release compliance, standards compliance, anomaly investigations, root-cause analysis, operational workarounds, and coordination with software, systems, and operations teams. Candidates need a relevant BSc or MEng and at least three years of experience in software QA, systems engineering, or mission assurance within a highly regulated industry, along with knowledge of version control, issue tracking, and software development lifecycles. The position follows a hybrid model requiring at least three days per week in the office.
