Description
Axiom Space is hiring a Software Safety Engineer to support mission and flight safety for its commercial space station and related spaceflight systems. The role conducts software and system-level safety and hazard analyses, defines safe computer-control strategies, participates in safety reviews and verification activities, coordinates with systems and software engineering teams, and prepares technical documentation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, a broad background in space systems engineering, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; it is generally an office-based role with occasional inside or outside work and may require evening and weekend availability.
