Description
Scarlet is hiring a Software Safety Engineer to assess software lifecycle processes and technical documentation for medical device software, screen regulatory insights, identify software risks and evidence gaps, and support certification decisions. The role also involves improving AI-assisted workflows with product, engineering, and applied machine learning teams, expanding regulatory responsibility across jurisdictions, and communicating complex regulatory topics to customers and prospects. Candidates need a degree in computer science or a related discipline, at least four years of experience in medical device or safety-critical product work including two years developing safety-critical software, and practical experience with software development, verification and validation, configuration management, and cybersecurity.
