Google is hiring a Software Security Engineer to anchor its Software Supply Chain security team and co-lead innovation at scale. The role focuses on software supply chain security, secure coding, vulnerability management, and the evolving agentic threat landscape, while partnering with engineering, product, and technical program management teams and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, three years in data privacy or security, three years testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and one year of software design and architecture experience.
