Description

Enlighten is hiring a hybrid Software Security Engineer to lead and contribute to cloud-based software and systems engineering for data-focused computer systems. The role involves AWS architecture, data modeling, cloud process development, systems analysis, performance and capacity management, troubleshooting, documentation, customer interfacing, and technical leadership. It requires a current TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, extensive systems/software engineering experience, and strong expertise in data platforms, distributed and NoSQL databases, APIs, microservices, Java, Linux, configuration management, agile development, and the Risk Management Framework.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience pathway.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 15 years of systems/software engineering experience; alternatives are 13 years with a related master's degree or 19 years with a high school diploma/equivalent.
AWS Cloud architecture focused on data solutions
Current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship
Ability to work hybrid, provide customer-site support, and travel within the continental United States
Solution documentation, customer presentations, and implementation support
Preferred Qualifications: DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification
Big Data Platform experience
Scripting experience
Streaming or batch analytics experience
