Valar Atomics is hiring a Software Security Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, from early design and architecture reviews through post-development code review. The role partners with engineering teams using C#, Python, React, and Postgres, performs threat modeling and secure-code reviews, supports CMMC 2.0 compliance, maintains secure coding practices, and provides actionable remediation guidance. Candidates need application or software security experience, proficiency with C# and Python, React and database security knowledge, and experience with both design-stage and code-review security activities. The position offers a $175,000–$200,000 USD base salary, equity, medical benefits, unlimited PTO, and other benefits.
