Description
Nearfield Instruments is hiring a Software Service Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan by installing, configuring, qualifying, and troubleshooting AFM-based metrology systems. The role combines software engineering with system-level engineering, including Python scripting, Windows and Linux environments, TCP/IP networking, SECS/GEM integration, and on-site cleanroom support. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, 3–8 years of field service, system engineering, or software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English. The position requires on-site customer work across Taiwan, domestic travel, and training in Rotterdam.
