SSI SCHÄFER is hiring a Software Support Engineer to provide technical support for automated material handling software systems used in warehouses and distribution centers. The role involves troubleshooting WMS, MFS, Java applications, SQL databases, and integrated automation systems; analyzing performance; executing test scenarios; documenting solutions; training customers and internal teams; and collaborating with software development, engineering, and international support teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least one year of technical support experience, Java and SQL troubleshooting experience, and availability for rotating night shifts and international travel.
