Qantas is hiring a full-time, permanent Software Technical Lead for its new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. The role leads a technical domain and engineers, guiding software development from discovery and system design through deployment and maintenance, while collaborating with Product Managers and contributing to broader engineering and delivery strategy. The position requires extensive systems development and technology leadership experience, strong Java, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, distributed systems, cloud, containerisation, CI/CD, and observability expertise, along with the ability to mentor developers and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
