Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Software Technical Project Manager to manage software development and integration for routers, radios, and laser communication devices across a constellation of spacecraft. The role coordinates engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams; develops roadmaps, testing approaches, KPIs, staffing plans, and integration schedules; and leads agile ceremonies and software quality practices. It requires a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of technical industry experience, 3+ years of project management and contractor-interfacing experience, network software and systems engineering knowledge, Jira experience, and an active Secret clearance. The position is based in Long Beach, California, and offers a base salary of $135,000–$200,000 USD plus equity.
