MBDA is hiring a Software Technical Team Lead to guide a small or medium-sized team of software engineers in designing and developing embedded software for a naval weapon system. The role covers the full development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, safety, security, reliability, project coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication. Candidates need embedded software experience with C/C++ and real-time operating systems, along with knowledge of low-level development, FreeRTOS, driver development, ARM assembler, model-driven tools, and engineering work-management tools. The position offers a hybrid schedule of four to five days, a salary of approximately £65,000, and benefits including a company bonus, pension, paid overtime, flexible leave, and a healthcare cash plan.
