Torch Technologies is hiring a full-time Software Test Engineer to support technical verification and software airworthiness qualification for a critical Army aviation platform. The role oversees OEM and supplier formal qualification testing, reviews software life-cycle data and verification artifacts, provides government oversight for milestone reviews, supports Stage of Involvement audits, manages software release transitions from SIL to flight test, and evaluates compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, MOSA, FACE, and other airworthiness standards. The position is onsite in Huntsville, Alabama, with 10–25% travel, and requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of relevant experience, an active Secret clearance, and defense acquisition software testing expertise.
