Description

Avive Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to play a critical role in the testing of Avive’s embedded software from early design stages through commercialization. This role focuses on automating and streamlining continuous testing processes to increase efficiency and ensure product compliance with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will design and implement automation frameworks, lead end-to-end testing, triage defects, and write comprehensive software project documentation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Required Previous Experiences: 7 years in a software test position for embedded systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Able to write, debug, and review python for hardware-control libraries and automated tests.
Experienced in Python, C/C++, ARM CPUs, Embedded Linux.
Able to design and build automated test systems from basic engineering lab equipment, electronics and firmware design.
Experienced in guiding teams on best practices for code development
Experienced in automating wireless networking test protocols - Cellular, BLE, WiFi
Experienced in managing data using Git and Jira APIs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing.
