Sony Interactive Entertainment is hiring a Software Test Engineer (SDET) in Dublin for a 12-month initial assignment with a hybrid arrangement of 1–2 onsite days per week. The role focuses on backend and data-quality testing, including SQL-based validation, data pipelines, Snowflake and Databricks, and end-to-end automation. Responsibilities span test strategy, API and UI testing, automation frameworks, CI/CD quality gates, defect analysis, and quality-engineering improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of software testing or quality-engineering experience, three years of API, backend, or UI automation experience, and strong SQL and modern data-platform experience.
