Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Software Test Engineer (SONIC) to primarily work from an HPE partner or customer office. The role designs and executes test plans for SONiC and Junos functionality on Broadcom-based switching platforms, validates L2/L3 networking features, tests SAI and ASIC drivers, automates functional, regression, scale, and performance tests with Python and Robot Framework, debugs across ASIC, NOS, and control/data-plane layers, and contributes to SONiC open-source improvements. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least seven years of network software or hardware testing experience, strong networking and switch architecture knowledge, and expertise with SONiC, SAI, Python, test automation, and related networking tools.
