Description
Redwood Materials is hiring a Software Validation Engineer to build and maintain software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop validation environments for battery assets, power electronics, and site controllers. The role develops Python/Pytest automation, defines verification and validation plans, integrates SIL/HIL tests into CI/CD, designs HIL interface hardware and wiring, and performs root-cause analysis with lab equipment and telemetry. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least two years of professional experience, real-time simulation expertise, embedded programming familiarity, high-voltage lab skills, digital protocol knowledge, and DevOps tooling experience.
