Description

Blue Origin is hiring a senior solar array materials and process engineer within its Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering organization. The role develops and qualifies photovoltaic module materials and manufacturing processes from prototype through high-rate production, including solar cell stringing, adhesive encapsulation, vacuum lamination, tabbing and bussing, process controls, first-article qualification, cell-to-module integration, and aerospace environmental qualification. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering field and at least 8 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or laboratory experience, with U.S. work authorization meeting export-control requirements.
