Description
Sungrow is hiring a contract Field Service Engineer to support commissioning, warranty, and operations-and-maintenance activities for photovoltaic inverters, BESS systems, PCS, batteries, and ancillary equipment. The role performs troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, upgrades, customer-site work, documentation, safety compliance, and coordination with engineering and customer teams. It is based in the Ottawa area, requires travel of 80% or more, and includes training in Alberta until the end of the year; no visa or legal sponsorship is offered. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with an anticipated base pay of $35 to $40 per hour plus overtime for candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington.
