Description
The Solar Installation Instructor Trainee will participate in Goodwill Columbus’s Clean Tech Accelerator Train-the-Trainer program by shadowing student cohorts, completing certification training, and delivering classroom and lab instruction in solar installation and solar electrical systems. The role also includes leading career and work-readiness modules, mentoring students, supporting on-site solar and electrical installation, and building employer relationships to support graduate job placement. Candidates need an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; OSHA certification is preferred, and at least two years of residential solar electric system installation or troubleshooting experience is preferred, with one year of crew leadership experience also preferred.
