Description

SolAmerica Energy is looking for a Solar Quality Engineer to oversee the QA/QC framework for solar and energy storage projects. The role involves conducting field audits, ensuring NEC compliance, overseeing system commissioning, and managing NCR lifecycles. This engineer will work closely with EPC contractors to ensure operational reliability and financial performance.

Required Skills

Solar-Specific QA/QC Experience
Deep understanding of the solar industry
utility interconnection processes and testing requirements
Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic systems and installation practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and comprehend plans, drawings, specifications, bid materials, contracts and related construction documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to constantly learn and improve
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Knowledge of project management software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years Solar-Specific QA/QC Experience who has worked directly for an owner-developer, Independent Engineer (IE) firm, or a tier-1 EPC contractor.
Demonstrated experience achieving positive renewable energy project construction results;
Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 (strongly preferred)
