Description
The Solderer II joins electronic components and wiring using manual and automated soldering techniques in an electronics manufacturing environment. The role interprets technical drawings and specifications, inspects solder joints, maintains and calibrates soldering equipment, collaborates with engineering and quality teams to resolve defects, and documents production and quality-control activities. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, soldering experience, technical-drawing literacy, manual dexterity, safety knowledge, IPC or equivalent certification, and experience with SMT and through-hole soldering.
