Description
Essel is hiring a Mid to Senior Level Solid Waste Engineer to manage and develop solid waste projects, including landfill gas, landfill infrastructure, composting, design, permitting, construction, and operations support. The role combines project management, business development, client management, engineering calculations and drawings, CAD drafting, reporting, field surveys and inspections, and staff development. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least six years of solid waste consulting experience, landfill gas management and air compliance expertise, an E.I.T., and a valid driver’s license; California P.E. registration or the ability to obtain it within six months is preferred. The position can be hybrid from San Diego, Long Beach, Pleasanton, or Sacramento, with remote work considered for California residents.
