Datacom is seeking a Solution Architect for its Managed Operations – Modern Platforms team to design and deliver infrastructure transformation solutions for public- and private-sector customers. The role combines presales consulting, solution design, scoping, pricing, bid and RFP support, and delivery collaboration across Microsoft, Oracle, VMware, Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud, hybrid platforms, backup, storage, infrastructure, and middleware technologies. It requires extensive experience designing, installing, or supporting enterprise platforms, producing SOWs, proposals, ROMs, and high-level designs, and managing stakeholders, vendors, and commercial engagements. The role also includes mentoring architects and engineers and identifying business and service improvement opportunities.
