Fortive is hiring a senior individual-contributor Solution Architect to build and design production software while owning the technical direction of core product platforms. The role combines hands-on coding, end-to-end feature delivery, AWS and CI/CD architecture, technology-roadmap planning, performance optimization, cross-team collaboration, and the adoption of AI-assisted development. It requires 5–10 years of software engineering experience, 2–3 years in an architectural or technical-lead capacity, and hands-on experience with AWS, GitHub Actions, infrastructure-as-code, and modern application architectures.
