The Hartford is hiring a Solution Architect for its Small Business IT team to design and modernize end-to-end digital solutions across mobile, web, APIs, microservices, data, and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on AI and digital-first architectures, solution option analysis, security and zero-trust patterns, architecture governance, and emerging technology evaluation. It requires at least five years of solution, application, or senior software engineering experience, Small Commercial Insurance experience, cloud and modern application expertise, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The position is hybrid, with three office days per week in Columbus, Ohio, or Hartford, Connecticut, and offers an annualized base pay range of $131,600 to $197,400.
