Version 1 is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to define, design, and support the delivery of modern, scalable, and secure technology solutions. The role covers target architecture, Java-based enterprise solutions, API and microservices design, architecture reviews, application modernisation, technology evaluation, and engagement with senior technical and business stakeholders. The position requires enterprise-scale or customer-facing experience, Java and application modernisation expertise, knowledge of Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, and strong communication skills. Flexible or remote working is offered, and the role is marked hybrid.

Required Previous Experiences: Proven experience as a Solution Architect in enterprise-scale or customer-facing environments

Experience modernising applications, including re-platforming or refactoring monolithic systems into microservices
Experience contributing to architecture standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks
Experience performing technology research and comparative evaluations based on customer needs
Experience contributing to architectural decisions with senior stakeholders
