Salesforce Professional Services is hiring a Solution Architect for its Missionforce team to provide architectural leadership across large and complex defense and national security engagements. The role partners with executive and delivery stakeholders, shapes solution visions, leads presales and delivery activities, manages customer expectations and risks, and ensures scalable, mission-aligned Salesforce solutions. Candidates need at least eight years of relevant enterprise architecture or Salesforce consulting experience, strong Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy expertise, and the ability to lead discovery, requirements, design, and stakeholder communication. The role requires U.S. citizenship, a background investigation, and the appropriate U.S. government security clearance; Metro DC is preferred. The typical base salary range is $123,100 to $273,000 annually, with higher ranges in California, New York, and select Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC metropolitan areas.
