Description

GDIT is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect SME to lead enterprise technology replacement, modernization, and consolidation initiatives. The role involves translating business needs into technical directions, guiding projects from concept to deployment, and ensuring alignment with governance processes. The architect will collaborate with various stakeholders, develop technical documentation, and contribute to stakeholder-facing communications.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years in enterprise IT, systems architecture, or infrastructure engineering.
Demonstrated experience leading solution design for platform migrations or technology replacements,
supporting formal governance processes such as ARB, CAB, or PMO gate reviews.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant professional certifications in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, identity platforms, or related technical disciplines (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, TOGAF, or equivalent)
