Microsoft is hiring a Cloud & AI Platforms Specialist – Education to lead cloud and AI sales engagement with higher education institutions, ministries of education, and research organizations. The role owns the sales journey from qualified opportunity through commitment, consumption, and expansion; leads cloud migration, data modernization, secure architecture, and agentic AI transformation; develops and executes complex, high-value deals; manages pipeline and consumption; and builds technical and consultative expertise. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience, with preferred qualifications including a master’s degree, 8+ years of experience, and experience selling cloud and AI modernization solutions to education, research, or public sector customers.
