Microsoft is hiring a Solution Engineer – Data to help organizations modernize operational databases, enterprise analytics platforms, and AI-ready data foundations using Microsoft Fabric and related cloud technologies. The role leads strategic customer engagements, translates business challenges into scalable data and AI solutions, delivers demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, advises architects and executives, partners with sales and engineering teams, and mentors colleagues. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, prior technical pre-sales or solution-architecture experience, enterprise-scale data and database implementation experience, and hands-on experience with databases, migrations, Microsoft Fabric, analytics, governance, and AI-grounding technologies. The role offers ongoing applications until filled and lists typical United Kingdom base pay ranges of £61,900–£105,500 for IC4 and £79,700–£133,900 for IC5.
