Description

AEP is hiring a Real Time Operations Solution Engineer to support and develop Operational Technology systems, including SCADA, EMS, ADMS, and other Transmission Control Center applications. The role covers architecture, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, performance analysis, software upgrades, scripting, backups, documentation, and on-call support. It is an on-site position in New Albany, Ohio; Salem, Virginia; or Corpus Christi, Texas, with compensation of $87,633–$109,544 for the SG7 level and $98,993–$128,689 for the SG8 level.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Two years of relevant experience for the associate’s-degree path.
Four years of relevant experience for the high school diploma/GED path.
Experience with SQL Server T-SQL, database modeling, and design.
Experience building Windows Services with .NET.
Experience with .NET 4.8.
Experience with .NET Core 3.1 through 10.
Blazor Server experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Blazor Hybrid or Blazor WASM experience.
Micro ORM experience with Dapper or RepoDb.
