AWS is hiring a Solutions Architect for its State and Local Government & Higher Education public sector practice. The role owns technical engagement and implementation success, defines AWS architectures, responds to RFPs, advises customers on cloud and generative AI solutions, leads architectural discussions and training, and acts as a liaison between customers, service teams, and support. The position requires substantial experience in application and infrastructure design, cloud computing, software development, security, and IT implementation, with 30% travel and a New York work location.
