Friends From The City is hiring a senior Solutions Architect / Technical Lead as a 1099 independent contractor for a nine-month, approximately 36-hour-per-week engagement. The role is fully remote within the Continental United States and leads architecture and hands-on delivery for secure, accessible, configurable health and government digital services. Responsibilities span front-end applications, APIs, data services, workflow and configuration platforms, integrations, and cloud infrastructure, including versioning, security, privacy, accessibility, observability, testing, performance, deployment, troubleshooting, mentoring, and production transition. Candidates need 7+ years designing and developing production software systems, strong modern application, API, data, security, and reliability experience, and health IT or comparable regulated-data experience.
