Amazon is hiring a Solutions Engineer to improve the reliability, throughput, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness of material-handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print-and-apply systems, and SCADA devices. The role involves evaluating software configurations, designing and implementing optimization solutions, managing integrations, leading implementation projects, supporting live environments, presenting business cases, and providing Tier 2/3 technical support. It requires programming experience, automation or complex MHE experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean, and expertise with controls software; the position may be based in a United States Amazon location within driving distance of an airport and requires travel of up to 70%.
