The role bridges sales and engineering by conducting customer discovery, product demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, requirements gathering, solution design, architecture reviews, and technical presentations for predictive maintenance and AI-based operations software in process industries such as refining, chemicals, power, oil and gas, and renewables. The engineer must translate customer operational challenges into technical solutions, build business cases, and maintain customer and partner relationships, with 40–60% travel expected.
