Description

Humata Health is hiring a Solutions Engineer (Technical Delivery & Support) to work remotely in the United States. The role owns end-to-end healthcare integrations involving 278R and 275 EDI transactions, RESTful APIs, file-based exchanges, data mapping, VPN and encryption configuration, troubleshooting, testing, monitoring, and documentation. The engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert for customer IT and EMR teams, advise on healthcare systems and HIPAA compliance, collaborate with engineering on reusable integration frameworks, and mentor junior specialists. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years of healthcare integration engineering experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 5–7+ years of hands-on integration engineering with direct ownership of EDI and API implementations in a healthcare environment
Hands-on experience with interface engines, preferably Mirth Connect or a comparable platform
Experience with healthcare prior authorization workflows, utilization management, and revenue cycle operations
Experience building or working with event-driven architectures, including webhooks and Kafka
Preferred Qualifications: Strong preference for Mirth Connect or a comparable interface engine
Familiarity with PowerBI, Looker, or equivalent integration monitoring and reporting tools
Contributions to technical enablement, including reusable Postman collections, knowledge bases, and data mapping templates
Ability to mentor junior technical implementation specialists
