Synopsys is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer, Solutions Engineering in Yerevan to develop IP compilers for embedded monitoring, test, diagnostic, and repair solutions for 3DIC optical interconnects in the SMS/SHS product portfolio. The role combines optical and photonic chip design, co-packaged opto-electronic systems, multiphysics simulation, IC design flows, Verilog and SystemVerilog, Python automation, and technical leadership. Responsibilities include building an Ansys simulation bridge, developing production-ready solutions, mentoring engineers, documenting technical work, and influencing product roadmaps. A master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related discipline is required, along with expertise in optical chip design, multiphysics simulation, and IC design flows.
