Description
The Sonographer independently or under supervision performs ultrasound imaging procedures, evaluates image quality, provides preliminary reports, coordinates with radiologists, maintains equipment and supplies, and documents cases in hospital systems. The role requires a BSc in Radiography or an accredited diploma, current national licensure, at least two years of postgraduate acute-care hospital ultrasound experience, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics. English fluency, adaptability, IT skills, and a supportive disposition are also required.
