Description
The University of Iowa Health Care is hiring a full-time Sonographer for its Cardiovascular Lab at the Downtown Campus in Iowa City. The role performs adult cardiac echocardiography and complex invasive and non-invasive procedures, assists physicians during TEE and other procedures, maintains diagnostic quality and equipment, teaches students and trainees, supports accreditation and policy work, and provides coverage at Iowa River Landing as assigned. Candidates must complete an approved sonography or related educational pathway, obtain ARDMS Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography registration within nine months, hold Basic Life Support certification by the start date, have a valid driver's license, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
