Description
Sutter Health is hiring a full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at SMPMC-Sutter Mills Peninsula Medical Center. The role performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity, including diagnostic imaging for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease; patient assessment; communication with patients and healthcare providers; and documentation in radiology, laboratory, electronic health record, and picture archive systems. The position requires graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or ARDMS completion, ARDMS certification upon hire, BLS certification upon hire, and two of six listed specialty certifications upon hire, along with two years of recent relevant experience. The schedule is variable days with as-needed weekends, and the pay range is $75.58 to $105.81 per hour.
