Description

Sutter Health's SEBMF-East Bay Medical Foundation is hiring a per diem/casual Sonographer II or Sonographer III for day shifts, Monday through Friday, to independently perform routine and specialized diagnostic sonography procedures, produce accurate images, assess and communicate findings, support patient care, follow privacy and safety regulations, and potentially orient other staff. Sonographer II requires 2 years of recent relevant experience and two listed specialty certifications; Sonographer III requires 5 years and three listed specialty certifications.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, or ARDMS evidence of program completion
Required Previous Experiences: 2 years of recent relevant experience for Sonographer II
5 years of recent relevant experience for Sonographer III
Preferred Qualifications: Sonographer II must hold at least two listed specialty certifications
Sonographer III must hold at least three listed specialty certifications
Specialty certification in two or three of abdomen, breast, fetal echocardiography, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric sonography, or vascular technology, depending on level
Experience responding to hospital emergencies, especially for Sonographer III
Ability to perform designated procedures and orient or support staff
