Description
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director administers and develops the full sonography program, including curriculum, instruction, clinical affiliations, accreditation, faculty, student recruitment and placement, budgeting, records, correspondence, and program policy. The role requires a baccalaureate degree, current ARDMS certification, at least four years of experience as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, and two years of teaching experience in an accredited sonography program. A master’s or doctorate in education or leadership and five years of college or university teaching and administrative experience are preferred.
