Description
The Salvation Army is hiring a Sorting Room Worker for its Family Store. The role receives, inspects, sorts, prices, tags, packs, stores, and prepares donated clothing, shoes, household goods, and other items for display or disposal. It also maintains the warehouse, sorting room, store displays, racks, shelves, floors, windows, and mirrors; assists customers with carrying items; and performs related duties. The position requires physical activity including prolonged standing, walking, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds, and prefers a high school diploma or GED and one year of warehouse experience.
